The Tour

The Ranganathittu Bird Photo Tour is an exciting photography workshop designed for nature and wildlife enthusiasts who wish to capture the beauty of birdlife in one of India’s most renowned bird sanctuaries.

Located along the banks of the Kaveri River, Ranganathittu is a haven for migratory and resident birds, offering:

Itinerary

The tour commences on Day 1 at Ranganathittu at 10:30 a.m. and concludes on Day 2 at 11:00 a.m.

Day 1: Arrival and Introduction

  • Arrive at the lodge at 10:30 a.m. and settle in.
  • Introduction and orientation session after a short break.
  • Post-lunch, engage in a hands-on workshop focused on key bird photography skills.
  • Afternoon boat ride at the sanctuary guided by the mentor.
  • Evening review session to analyze the day’s captures, followed by dinner.

Day 2: Morning Field Session and Departure

  • Early morning boat ride for a fresh set of bird photography opportunities.
  • Breakfast back at the lodge.
  • Wrap-up session and checkout by 11 a.m.
