Welcome to Corbett National Park, specifically the Dhikala zone, one of the most renowned and picturesque areas of this incredible wildlife sanctuary. Established in 1936, Corbett is India’s oldest national park and a haven for wildlife enthusiasts and photographers alike.
The Dhikala zone, situated in the core area, offers incredible opportunities to observe and photograph:
Bengal tigers in their natural habitat
Asian elephants, leopards, and other mammals
A wide array of resident and migratory birds
Breathtaking views of Ramganga River and dense Sal forests
Entry to Dhikala is through the Dhangari gate, located 18 km from Ramnagar, and the Dhikala Tourist Complex lies 31 km inside. The zone is open from 15th November to 15th June and remains closed during the monsoon. From scenic views to crocodile spotting on the banks of the reservoir, Dhikala offers a unique wilderness experience.
